Stretch Break 101: Chest Pull Stretch for Upper Back Soreness

Stretch Break 101 – Chest Pull

Hey Everyone, you can find our Stretching sheet to help you reduce muscle tightness and tension.  We also sent the video to show you how to do the first stretch, Shoulder and Neck Retractions. Hopefully you all found that one useful to ease neck and upper back discomfort.

Today, our second stretch, along with the video, is called “Chest Pull“.  This stretch is one of the best you can do if you are having pain between your shoulder blades, into your upper back or lower neck area.  Imagine you are hunched forward to work on your computer; your chest muscles get tight and they pull on the upper back.  Over time, the chest muscles get weak and they tighten up, causing pain.  Remember to hold the stretch in a pain-free range of motion for 20-30 seconds and repeat.\
