Anderson Ergonomics Consulting portable lumbar support is small enough to fit comfortably onto your existing chair or car seat and our clients tell us it is extremely comfortable! This helps support the natural curve of the lumbar spine, which, if unsupported, encourages hunching of the upper back and flattening of the lumbar spine. Lack of support in this area tends to result in muscle stress in the shoulders, neck and lower back.
These lumbar supports are washable, come with an adjustable strap and velcro (can be ordered without), and can be covered in vinyl for a lab environment. Costs are: $49 each plus GST and S&H; Volume discounts can be applied. Contact us for details.

Two sizes: We have two sizes 11.5″ long and 8.5″ long. The one you choose depends on whether your chair backrest is flat across or is concave, i.e. comes in towards your back on the sides. If it is flat, the longer lumbar support works best. If it is concave, the smaller one tends to fit into the gap in the backrest better. We typically have them with velcro and a strap but offer without velcro too. Please let us know in the comments section when you order, which size you would like. They are both the same price.
